DNS Zone Editing

Can you improve your DNS management system. Updating DNS from other providers like Godaddy is way better than your DNS system like you don't have to wait longer just to get your DNS updated. Is there a way you can improve it to make DNS update faster than waiting 4-8 hours before it gets updated? like right now I am updating the MX records by adding new MX records and removing the old MX records. The new record was updated in 15 minutes but the old records were not removed until like 8 hours. We can't wait that long if we are running a business.

Hi Juanita, thank you for your suggestion, we will be looking to make improvements to the DNS management in the coming months.
It can take up to 72 hours to propagate DNS changes across the internet, this is something outside of our control. New records update much quicker because there is no cached version on the web, so it goes to the source nameserver. Where as changing an existing record can take up-to between 8-72 hours to update depending on which external DNS caching server is being used (Google, Cloudflare etc). For example Google's DNS servers can take upto 72 hours to propogate, though it's normally done in 8 hours. Those timings are set on Google's side and can often ignore the TTL you are able to set when editing the record.
